Introduction

The MIC-3038 is a high-performance CompactPCI platform with an 8-slot 6U backplane in a 4U-high enclosure. The 8-slot backplane dedicates one slot to the system CPU board and seven slots to peripheral boards, and it also supports PICMG 2.5 compliant H.110 CT Bus and IEEE 1101.11 rear I/O cards. Featuring high availability and ample room for expansion, the MIC-3038 is compliant with the PICMG 2.5 computer telephony specifications. Its hot-swappable fan module offers outstanding ventilation and the redundant power supplies provides 24/7 non-stop operation. An optional chassis management module guarantees system fault detection.
