  • PAC (APAX-5000 Series)

    APAX-5000 Remote I/Os, including the APAX-5620, provides an open development architecture with redundant, integrates control, information processing, and networking in a single control system. The APAX-5000 Remote I/O series, also includes the APAX-5620, which features dual controllers for different tasks, making it superior to other PAC products in the market. The APAX-5000 Remote I/O series' versatility, flexibility and scalability can fully satisfy complicated automation industry needs. In addition, APAX-5000 Remote I/O modules have many attractive features to reduce the effort of the engineers, such as redundant capability, high density, clamp type terminal blocks, ID switches, LEDs, writable labels with wiring information, and a flexible expansion topology. Members of the APAX-5000 series include controllers, I/O modules, backplanes and power supply modules. The APAX-5000 series can also be applied in the batch process production environments like food, beverage, pharmacy, machinery control and critical environmental systems.

    • APAX Controllers

      Advantech’s APAX-5000 series, including the APAX-5620, use an open development architecture with embedded KW Multiprog Softlogic software and optional HMI/SCADA, integrates control, information processing, and networking in a single control system. Advantech’s PAC solution leverages KW Multiprog and ProConOS as the development tool. Users can easily choose the most suitable SoftLogic software to use. The APAX-5000 series have dual dedicated controllers for different tasks superior to other PAC products in the market.
    • Communication & Coupler Modules

      The APAX Remote I/O series communication modules are designed for control markets because of their high density I/O points, flexibility, scalability, and hot-swappable functionality and also variety I/O selections. The APAX Remote I/O communication modules can support a variety of protocols, including PROFINET, CANOpen, Modbus/TCP and Ethernet/IP, users can build their APAX remote I/O system with specific protocols to fulfill the remote I/O needs of existing PLC market and any control markets.
    • Analog I/O Modules

      The Advantech APAX-5000 analog input/output modules offers channel-independent configuration, signal type selection (AI has 12 channels and AO has 8 channels), sensor wiring burn-out detection, hot swap functionality and can be easily configured for different types and ranges of input/output to support versatile applications using the same utility software. Advantech’s analog input/output modules provide reliable functionality to satisfy your various needs.
    • Digital I/O Modules

      The Advantech APAX-5000 digital input/output modules (APAX-5040) are equipped with high density 24 channels, isolation, shirt short circuit protection, failure protection functions and hot swap functionality to increase the utilization rate of this APAX-5040 digital input/output module and provide a reliable system.
    • Backplane Modules

      Advantech's APAX backplane modules are designed to connect APAX modules in a flexible and convenient way. The APAX backplane modules, the APAX-5001 and APAX-5002, are in accordance with 1-slot and 2-slot backplanes for different APAX modules connecting requirements. Furthermore, the APAX-5002 is equipped with an RJ-45 port which can support flexible remote control architectures.
    • Power Supply Modules

      Advantech’s APAX-5343 and APAX-5343E power supply modules with 72W output power have passed Energy Star compliance and provide a power transmission efficiency of over 88% from AC input to DC output, providing power for more APAX modules. They have also passed UL 508 certification, demonstrating that they are suitable for safe operation in industrial environments. In order to protect the devices from overloading, voltage spikes and short-circuits the APAX-5343 and APAX-5343E power supply modules include an auto-recovery mode which ensures they’ll continue to work normally in the event of an electrical problem.
  • Intelligent RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) : ADAM-3600 Series

    The ADAM-3600 is a new ADAM series for RTU application by leveraging IoT technology. They not only have high environmental adaptability to work in the far and wide remote station. But also the new form factor is very friendly for the installation in control cabinet. The domain focused on-board IO design and the 4 slots IO expansion capability provides the maximum flexibility to serve the application with less IO requirements.

  • ADAM-5000 Series

    ADAM-5000 PC-based controllers, including the ADAM I/O series, and ADAM-5550KW Micro PAC, feature an AMD Geode GX533 CPU along with control specific features such as watchdog timer, battery backup RAM and deterministic I/O. ADAM-5550KW PC-based controllers support 5 standard IEC 61131-3 programming languages in CE 5.0. With the optional HMI Software and built-in VGA port, this ADAM I/O allows to avoid using additional SCADA PC’s in their applications. This compact and powerful ADAM-5550KW Micro PAC is ideal for up to 256 I/O point applications.

    • ADAM Controllers

      The ADAM-5550KW Micro PAC is useful for up to 256 I/O point applications. It features an AMD Geode GX533 CPU along with control specific features such as watchdog timer, battery backup RAM and deterministic I/O. The ADAM-5550KW also supports 5 standard IEC 61131-3 programming languages in Microsoft Windows CE 5.0. With the optional HMI Software and built-in VGA port, users no longer need to use additional SCADA PC’s in their applications. This compact and powerful Micro PAC is ideal for up to 256 I/O point applications.
    • I/O Rack

      ADAM-5000/485 and ADAM-5000E systems conform to the EIA RS-485 communication standard. RS-485 was specifically developed for industrial applications to transmit and receive data at high rates over long distances. The ADAM-5000L/TCP and ADAM-5000/TPC are both Ethernet-based I/O systems. Without a repeater, they can cover a communication distance up to 100M. This allows remote configuration via Ethernet and eight PCs can simultaneously access the data.
    • Communication Modules

      ADAM-5000 communication modules, including the ADAM-5091 and ADAM-5095, are equipped with serial ports to enable easy expandability and bi-directional communications. The communication module, such as the ADAM-5091 and ADAM-5095, is designed to be integrated with the ADAM-4000/5000 series, and transmit data to each other through the serial ports.
    • Analog I/O Modules

      Advantech ADAM-5000 analog input/output modules, such as the ADAM-5017, can be easily configured for different types and ranges of input/output to support versatile applications using the same utility software. Advantech’s analog input/output modules, including the ADAM-5017, provide reliable functionality to satisfy your various needs.

      Advantech ADAM-5000 digital input/output modules, including the ADAM-5056, are equipped with isolation and failure protection functions to provide a reliable system. This digital input/output modules, including the ADAM-5056, have a complete series of sixteen digital output channels, eight fully independent isolated channels and 32-ch isolated digital output modules .
    • Counter/Frequency Modules

      Advantech ADAM-5000 frequency/counter modules, such as the ADAM-5080 and ADAM-5081, can be remotely configured to up / down, bi-directional, counter, frequency, and alarm setting modes. ADAM-5080 is a 4-Channel Frequency/Counter Module and ADAM-5081 is a 4-Channel High Speed Frequency/Counter Module.
    • Specialist Modules

      ADAM-5000 modules can support a versatile range of applications and offer a lot of different functionality, including storage and AMONet modules. They can be easily configured to extend applications to support versatile applications using the same utility software.
    • Power Supplies Modules

      Advantech provides DIN-rail mounting and panel mounting switching power supplies for different installation environments. The PWR-242 is a DIN-rail mounting switching power supplier, the PWR-243 is a panel power supplier and the PWR-244 is a panel mounting power supplier.
