  • Vision System

    Advantech EagleEye is a fully integrated vision system in a compact “smart” camera format. EagleEye vision systems are able to be configured and monitored remotely using an Ethernet connection to a PC or factory network. Small and rugged devices can be easily integrated into existing production lines, machinery, or moving equipment. Advantech EagleEye with built-in opto-isolated I/O allows direct wiring to associated control devices. A 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port provides setup and monitoring access, runtime control, and standard communication protocols and passive Power over Ethernet supports single cable interface. An integrated lamp connector provides power and strobe control to external LED light sources and the EagleEye IDR allows manufacturers to combine 1D and 2D tracking with other inspection tasks, such as character reading (OCR) and feature verification.

  • 4-axis Embedded Motion Controller

    MVP-3245 provides embedded motion control platform for embedded motion applications with latest Intel Atom processor and SoftMotion technology and is aimed to machinery industry application with compact and slim form factor need.To meet different demands for industrial automation, MVP-3245 provides a variety of basic motion control functions, such as linear, circular and helical interpolation, T/S-curve speed profile and advanced motion function, such as E-Gear, E-CAM and Tangential Following. MVP-3245 also features the specific softmotion function for sector application, such as 2D compare trigger, Path DO and 3D Arc move. This controller also supports serial communication ports and several other networking interfaces.   • Centralized Motion Control Solution

    Centralized motion control solutions include 4-axis, 6-axis and 8-axis motion control cards, embedded motion controller system or pulse-output, voltage-output, ISA-bus-based, PCI-bus-based, standard PC-based controllers. The functions of the motion cards vary from high-end 3-axis circular interpolation cards to low-cost point-to-point motion devices. The PCI-1240U and PCI-1243U are 4-axis motion control cards that simplify pulse-type servo motor control. The PCI-1245 is a 4-axis motion control card that utilizes a high-performance DSP to calculate the motion trajectories. The PCI-1784U is a 4-axis motion control quadrature encoder and counter card for PCI bus. The PCL-833 and PCL-839+ are 3-axis motion control ISA cards. The PCM-3240 is a 4-axis motion control card that performs without processor loading. Finally, the PEC-3240 is an embedded motion controller, programmers can speed up their system development with this embedded motion controller. The kernel on DSP is the one of SoftMotion built by Advantech. All motion cards support common motion API for easy integration or machine upgrade. The PCI-1240U/PCI-1220U and PCI-1243U are motion control cards that are ASIC based. The PEC-3240 is an embedded motion controller; programmers can speed up their system development with this Application ready embedded motion controller.     • Accessories

      A DIN-rail terminal board is a wiring board with dedicated connectors for the motors of Panasonic Minas A series, Mitsubishi MR-J2S series and Yaskawa Sigma 2 series. This terminal board can save time and effort of wiring. Each ADAM-3900 series wiring board features DIN-rail mounting terminals and consists of universal screw terminal modules designed for field signal wiring in industrial applications. Besides, DIN-rail terminal board can be connected to the analog and digital ports of Advantech products such as the PCL series.

  • Distributed Motion Control Solution

    The AMONet RS-485 series of distributed motion control products are categorized as Slave Modules and Master Cards. The AMAX-1220/1240/2240 series are used to increase the number of axes for distributed motion control networks; the AMAX-1750/2750 series extend the digital I/O capacity, each digital input module reduces wiring between driver and controller. While the Master Card is installed in the host PC, the PCI-1202U and the PCM-3202P master cards collect and publish the information to the host PC. The advantage of the AMONet RS-485 is its compatibility with motor drivers from different vendors such as Panasonic, Mitsubishi and Yaskawa. Thus, the AMONet is engineered to tackle the problems of increased spending on wiring and maintenance of these distributed motion control systems.

    • EtherCAT Solution

      EtherCAT (Ethernet Control Automation Technology) is a high-performance, Ethernet-based fieldbus industrial network system. The protocol is standardized in IEC 61158 and applies to automation applications that need faster and more efficient communications. Short data update times with precise synchronization make EtherCAT suitable for real-time requirements in automation technology.
